Over time waterwells could be overcome by the natural deposits of the
formation they are drilled into. These deposits are called “incrustations”. Common incrustations in our area are calcium, iron sulfide, iron manganese, and bio slime. Incrustations form on the casing and screen walls, inside and out. These can lead to impeded flow to the well leading to damages to the pumping system or to the well as a whole.
At B-E Waterwell Services, LLC we have spent countless hours and dollars to devise a procedure to rehabilitate waterwells to their previous or potentially better production. We understand that not every situation is the same and may need to be attacked differently. Our procedures include but are never limited to using acids, detergents, custom brushes, cameras, custom suction pipes, and/or surge blocks (swabs).
Another rehabilitation procedure for waterwells is the repair of well screens. Screens have the potential to deteriorate or become damaged overtime from these incrustations. The deterioration of the screen could lead to sand in the well, which would pose serious risk to your pumping equipment. This risk could include premature pump failure, damages to plumbing, or even a stuck pump destroying the entire well.
New wells average $10k-$20k and are constantly climbing.
